The Linden Fairway electric golf trolley looks good and certainly feels well made and robust, even if that makes it a little on the heavy side. This extra weight does make it quite stable and even going up steep slopes, it stayed with all 3 wheels on the ground and did not 'fall back'. It was easy to put up and down we like the folded locking mechanism so you can lift into the car boot with one hand and sit it up vertically for storage.

The design of the lower half of the frame makes it easy to put any size of bag on the Linden Fairway right up to a full size tour bag. Adjusting the front wheel is also very simple through 2 clips on either side of the wheel which is a great feature as there is no need for spanners. You can also set the wheels to freewheel in case your battery runs out or you forget it so you don't damage the motor.

So far so good, but there were a few downsides. The combination of the admittedly comfy handle and the rotating speed dial were not the easiest to use to control the speed, as you have to use your index finger to control the speed or use 2 hands. However once you have speed set then using the left hand button to turn the power on and off is pretty easy. The distance function is a great feature and is nice and simple to use with 2 settings for 10, 20 and 30 yards.

The display is a little basic and we would like to see some sort of flashing display to tell you when the power to the wheels is on or off for when you are doing things like going down a hill. The red/yellow/green battery power lights are a little sharp on the eye but at least they add some colour.

However this is one of the cheaper trolleys in the market so you will get what you pay for and in that respect, the Linden Fairway electric golf trolley does what it says on the tin.
