These irons have one of the largest cavity backs around, but that makes them very forgiving. You also can't see it at address and the thick top line gives you lots of confidence. We found we could shape shots easily and the club was pretty forgiving on off-centre hits. They looked good and we like the white alignment line on the lowest groove on the face. The custom John Letters grip is soft and tacky, combining modern performance with classic looks. Obvoiusly aimed at the mid to high handicapper, these irons represent excellent value.

The John Letters Trilogy T5 irons were a bit too chunky looking for me. Felt that all the weight in the club was down at the head. Got the ball in the air very easily which will suit the higher handicapper. Not for me.

Nice wide sole on this John Letters Trilogy T5 iron - so easy to get the ball airborne its unbelievable. Ball trajectory is very high with the John Letters Trilogy T5 Steel irons so I am having to re-evaluate all my distance to club selections. Very nice looking club, lovely weighting as well, I would agree with the other reviewer that these would really suit a higher handicapper looking to improve their scores (Like me). Buy direct from John Letters www.johnlettersdirect.co.uk or go to one of their factory outlets and bag a bargain. I saved well over £100 by going to the factory shop and they offer free custom fitting.
