John Letters Tour Black Wedge

The John Letters Tour Black wedges have been designed with input from John Letters’ staff players, Phil Archer, Chris Hanson and Sam Torrancem and have been tested on European, Seniors and Challenge tours to ensure they stand up to the most demanding conditions.

Hand forged from the finest 8620 steel, the Tour Black wedges offer outstanding performance with the feel from the club face demanded by the game’s best players. John Letters has used all of their clubmaking expertise to precision engineer the Tour Black wedges to the tightest tolerances and ensure the most exacting performance, including conforming groove technology that push USGA and R&A rules to the limit. Featuring a clean, classy look and distinctive black finish, the Tour Black wedges will appeal to golfers that prefer understated excellence over loud logos or fussy designs.

The sleek hand-crafted wedges will be offered with a variety of custom fitted shaft options including the new KBS Black shaft. The black shaft coupled with the distinctive black clubhead and black Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip offers a stunning look whilst reducing glare from the sun. The new Tour Proven True Temper Dynamic Gold Spinner is also offered as a stock option, offering a lower ballflight with up to 700 RPM more backspin than traditional wedge shafts.
