What The Manufacturer Says

The John Letters T-Series Hybrid utility club is constructed from high quality 17-4 Stainless Steel the it offers a superb value alternative for your hard-to-hit long irons. Each John Letters T-Series Hybrid utility club uses dual weights to create the 'Dual Weighting System'. These weights move the centre of gravity low and further back in the head to give a high ball flight with very little back spin for the optimum ball flight and maximum distance. The weights have been spaced wider apart to give a higher MOI (Moment of Inertia). This provides substantially more forgiveness on miss-hits for better results. The low centre of gravity compared to conventional long irons makes getting the ball in the air much easier for a long and high ball flight from virtually any lie and a 'Power Bar' has been designed into the crown of the club head to direct more weight directly behind the ball at impact for a solid feel and great sound. A low profile, shallow face design allows the club to sit beautifully behind the ball to inspire confidence at address and the lightweight, 65g graphite shaft, has been purpose designed for the T-Series clubs to give the maximum distance, balance and accuracy possible. A John Letters 'Softie' style grip is fitted to each of the clubs for great traction and comfort in all conditions.

What Golfalot Says

The John Letters T-Series Hybrid utility club uses dual weights to move the centre of gravity low and further back in the head. The weights have been spaced wider apart to give a higher Moment of Inertia to provide more forgiveness. On mishits the results were good and when you caught it out of the generous sweet spot then the flight was high and consistent. The John Letters T-Series Hybrid is a great alterative for those who have fallen out with their long irons!
