The Pondera putter is part of GEL’s collaboration with Dr Paul Hurrion and the launch of four new models in the GEL Paul Hurrion Signature range featuring the Ora, Pondera, Vicis and Quasso models. The GEL Pondera putter comes with the GEL True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 Iron Shaft as standard offering much greater feel and pace control than a standard putter shaft. Paul Hurrion’s design also allows for weight to be redistributed to the perimeter of the putter head thanks to a unique weighting systems with tungsten concealed in the putter head. This innovations allows every golfer to enjoy a more rhythmic stroke and reap the benefits of a high moment of inertia.

As with previous models in the GEL Paul Hurrion range the new GEL Pondera features GEL’s unique multi-layer, horizontal grooves which are precision milled on to the soft aluminum insert. The result is a putter that reduces the effect of skidding and provides a straight role straight from impact. The GEL Pondera is a mallet putter with a full shaft offset. Dr Paul Hurrion is recognized as one of the European Tour’s foremost putting coaches as well as being a leading expert on sports biomechanics.
