The Footjoy FJ Sport Spikeless is the second generation of the popular FJ Sport shoe worn by several Tour pros including Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Matteo Mannassero.

Footjoy felt that whilst street or spikeless shoes have made a significant entry into the market, there was a lack of high-performance spikeless shoes. Thus, the FJ Sport is designed to be lightweight, waterproof, athletically styled and flexible with a durable, spikeless outsole that can be worn on and off the course.

Available in a white/blue or white/orange colour (more colours available in the US), and with the popular Sport styling, Footjoy believe the FJ Sport Spikeless will appeal to those golfers seeking a shoe that is technologically advanced shoe with the comfort and crossover of a spikeless shoe.

The new spikeless outsole has been designed carefully. An aggressive, high-frequency moulded sole is engineered to be durable, flexible and provide excellent traction. Add to this the FJ Sport's defining feature, the external TPU Heel Stabiliser. Also featured in the original FJ Sport, the heel stabiliser provides extra stability and support to compliment the Athletic Mesh lining and Lightweight Moulded Fit-Bed on the insole.

The upper is essentially the same as the original FJ Sport, but a new Forefoot FlexZone has been added to the 2013 FJ Sport Spikeless and is designed to deliver outstanding flexibility. The toe shape is now a full rounded design with a slightly shallow forefoot and narrower heel.

In terms of positioning within the Footjoy range of shoes, the new FJ Sport Spikeless will sit somewhere between the extremely stable XPS-1 model and the lightweight, lifestyle-inspired Contour Casual.
