The FJ Icon is a golf shoe packed with technology designed for comfort and performance. The full leather linings ensure total comfort, slip resistance and breathability and is supported by the leather covered dual-density PU Fit-Bed. This allows the underfoot of the FJ Icon to closely mimic the natural shape of the foot giving the player a quality fit and cushioned support. FootJoy have also included memory foam in the tongue and around the collar of the FJ Icon for enhanced comfort whilst a modified toe character, a standard fit across the forefoot and instep, with a slightly narrow heel is the result of thousands of scans from the FootJoy Laser Fitting System and ensures the FJ ICON is the perfect fit.
The cutting edge technology of the FJ Icon continues on the shoes outsole that has been designed to provide the ultimate stability on every shot. An EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning underfoot which will last for the life of the shoe whilst the Tri-density TPU outsole varies in density across the sole to provide an extremely stable hitting platform. Midfoot stability and support is provided by the Icon Torque Bar whilst the FJ Icon also benefits from the patented Dual OptiFlex technology for unparalleled walking comfort and flexibility. Stinger III cleats by CHAMP are standard in the FJ Icon and these spikes offer superior traction throughout the entire golf swing.
