I bought two Easycaddy models in October last year; my wife uses the lighter Tawe model while I use the larger Snowdon model. My experience with the trolleys and the customer service has been very positive. We play a hilly course and I had been a little unsure about going for one of the cheaper manufacturers as our course is notoriously hard on trolleys (friends who use electric trolleys tend to run into trouble on a fairly regular basis because of it). Indeed this has proved to be hard on the Easycaddy's too and I've had to have a battery cable for my wife’s trolley which fell over on the 8th and the wheel on mine became faulty (my fault as I dropped it!). In both case they were quick to send the parts and the girls on their service team were pleasant and helpful enough. The build quality is good on both trolleys (although I found a strap missing on delivery which suggest an oversight somewhere but this was despatched to reach me the next day). My trolley has interested my Powakaddy owning friends especially when I tell them that I paid half the among for mine. A few have now bought an Easycaddy to. Again some had problems but all were sorted out (a relief I must say as I had recommended them!) All in all if you are looking for a better value option Easycaddy has a lot to offer.

On first glance great for the price, but the charging unit has been replaced twice in one year (no quibble) and I've discovered there's one unassuming little metal clip on the underside that can disable the power to the wheels if it falls out. Lucky I happened to notice it lying behind my car - after I'd finished my round of course!

I bought a Snowdon remote in November...it was cosmetically (so I thought) damaged on arrival - but died half way round the first 18 holes. Got it replaced - (they ignored the cosmetic problems) but the second trolley also failed to make it around. Had grief trying to get them to collect - still waiting for a refund after 5 further weeks. Having to get Mastercard to deal with them. AVOID!!!

Dont buy anything from this company. Not value for any money. I bought a tawe pro x-mas 99 and had to replace it with a "better model" after 3 months. That broke down within another 3 months.Have taken them to court and am still waiting for the money they have promised to me.... Dont waste your money..vry difficult people to do business with. Buy better product at any golf outlet...lidl/aldi do trolleys better than this.

In September 2006 I purchased an EasyCaddy Snowdon Electric Golf Trolley. On the first occasion I took it out the crimp on the top restraining strap pulled off and when it started to rain and the trolley kept stopping and starting, eventually I had to push it round the course. I was told by EasyCaddy I shouldn't have used it in the rain and they sent me a new control knob which I fitted. It still kept stopping and starting so they sent me a new control box to fit, once again reminding me it was my fault for taking it out in the rain. This didn't cure the problem so it was sent back to them for repair. On return it still kept stopping and starting and by then the battery strap and bottom bag strap clips had broken, the switch cover had also split so back it went. I was told that the Electronic Distance Control did cause this problem sometimes but it shouldn't be used in the rain. When it was returned and still didn't work properly I resigned myself to having to nurse it round the course. I have used it no more than a dozen times and the plastic front wheel has now just disintegrated inside the tyre. I rang them again and was amazingly told that it was probably caused by not keeping the outside of the wheel clean and "what did I expect you only get what you pay for". They refused me a replacement or my money back. A new wheel did turn up a few days later, it had a bearing on one side missing and the spindle hole was different to the one on my trolley.

I ordered an EasyCaddy Snowdon trolley on 3 October 2006 and the money was taken from my account the following day. Although their website stated delivery normally within 5 working days I did not receive the trolley until 2 November. I telephoned their offices on a number of occasions and repeatedly was not answered or given promises that were not kept. By March 2007 the top bag support sheared off at the riveted fixing to the main trolley and I was eventually sent a replacement unit which relied on bolt fixings. That fixing is now unstable. Shortly after that the trolley electrics failed during a round in the rain and it took a long time before I received any replacement parts as I had to keep taking the main handle apart and trying WD 40 as a first option. The battery then started to leak whenever put on charge and the carrying handle for the battery is splitting. Despite this EasyCaddy have failed to take any action. If anybody is looking for an electric golf trolley this is definitely not the one to buy or the company to buy from. Their customer service on a scale of 1-10 is 0.
