Cobra S9-1 M/ST Senior 7 Wood Graphite Shaft Fairway Wood

The 2009 King Cobra Pro S9-1 M/ST Seniors offset fairway wood has been designed to suit the demands of Senior golfers whose moderate swing speed tends to produce a natural ball flight with a strong fade or slice and who will benefit from shot correcting draw bias that is built into the club. Incorporating all of Cobra’s cutting edge technology developed for the S9-1 wood range the S-91 M/ST model is set up with an offset to help the golfer square the face at impact to optimise distance and accuracy with a mid spin ad high launch ball flight. Aimed at players with swing speeds of less than 76mph it incorporates a lighter shaft with a softer flex/torque profile and a softer grip, all aimed at increasing accuracy and distance amongst this group of players looking to improve their consistency and ball striking from the fairway. As with all the Cobra S9-1 range the S9-1 senior model incorporates Hotter 9 Point technology to maximise ball speed across the whole clubface. With a high MOI and a large face area incorporating Cobras Milled Dual Rhombus Technology the S9-1 M/ST offset has seen both the face and head shapes precisely redesigned to allow weight to be optimally placed and ball speed maximised. Cobra’s unique speed tuning means that discretionary weight can be placed differently in each model - in the case of the S9-1 M it is this which, in conjunction with a lighter club and shaft, promotes a the draw biased flight designed to counter the tendency of moderate ball speed players to fade the ball.
