The 2009 King Cobra S9-1 M/ST offset driver is aimed at the player who generates a moderate ball speed whose usual ball flight is a fade or slice and who will therefore benefit considerably from the offset draw biased head design. The Cobra S9-1 M/ST gives moderate ball speed players a more dynamic loft for them to maximise their distance and accuracy which will also be enhanced by the lighter shaft and softer grips that are found in the M/ST version of the S9-1 Cobra driver. As with all the Cobra S9-1 range the M/ST model incorporates Hotter 9 Point technology that ensures the entire clubface delivers maximum ball speed. With a large face area and a 460cc club head incorporating Cobras Milled Dual Rhombus Technology to deliver a very high MOI the S9-1 driver range has seen both the face and head shapes precisely manufactured to allow weight to be optimally placed and ball speed maximised. Cobra’s unique speed tuning system allows discretionary weight to be placed specifically in each model thanks to the new internal rib design. In the case of the S9-1 M/ST, it is this which, in conjunction with a lighter club and M/ST specific shaft for players with moderate swing speeds, that promotes a draw to counteract the players normal fade and delivers a high spin rate to maximise distance.
