The Cobra S2 Offset driver offers accuracy, distance and forgiveness for mid to high handicap golfers who are looking for maximum forgiveness. The draw bias is ideally suited to golfer who need a high launch ball flight that will provide that much needed extra distance and superior accuracy from the tee.

The Cobra S2 Offset is packed with the kind of technological breakthroughs that Cobra are famed for and which translate into superior performance from the tee. 9 Point Face Technology sees a Milled Rhombus Face insert working in harmony with an thinner titanium perimeter, a design that ensures extra speed is generate right across the clubface. This means that even off centre hits can retain their distance and accuracy.

The Cobra S2 Offset golf driver also features a maximum 460 cc clubhead which is accommodated within a far more traditional head shape than recent Cobra drivers. If the Cobra S2 driver seems a little daunting for those of you with a slightly higher handicap then help is at hand with the Cobra S2 Offset driver. This dispenses with the Adjustable Flight Technology and Cobra are pitching it as more of a game improvement driver that has a more traditional finish.

The silver finish is less striking than the S2 driver but the looks at address are still excellent. Like the S2 driver the S2 Offset version has a slightly extended Fujikura Fit-On shaft which helps to promote ball speed, something that should really give mid handicappers a little extra boost from the tee.

We found the Cobra S2 Offset a joy to hit. The ball flight is a little higher than the S2 and this is because of a difference in internal weighting that the closed faced requires. This, however, should pose few problems for the higher handicappers who sometime need a little extra encouragement to get the correct ball flight.

We found the feel and sound at impact to be terrific and were impressed with how easy it was to get the ball travelling long and straight with a pleasing consistency. We really think this Cobra S2 Offset will be a winner with the mid handicappers out there and the lower price tag should be an attractive proposition for those of you wanting all of Cobra's traditional performance without the premium price tag of the S2 version.
