The Cobra S2 Fairway Woods provide golfers with the ideal woods to complement the excellent S2 driver. The S2 fairways share the same design principles as the S2 driver allowing them to deliver superior performance and offer the discerning golfer the aesthetically pleasing looks that Cobra clubs are famed for.

The S2 fairway features a 17-4 stainless steel clubhead with a contoured sole design. This unique sole offers much improved contact with the ball which helps to improve forgiveness on even those occasional off centre shots.

The Cobra S2 fairway wood comes with a Fujikura Fit-On Max graphite shaft and Golf Pride grip.

Cobra S2 Fairway Wood Review

The taller clubface compared to previous Cobra models is certainly noticeable but we were glad to see that the Cobra S2 fairway wood sat beautifully behind the ball at address and the larger face provides a welcome confidence boost rather than an unwelcome distraction.

Like the drivers in the range Cobra have also worked to improve the impact sound and we're happy to report that their efforts have been succesful with both the feel and sound at impact a real improvement on previous models and adding to the impression that the whole package is a quality wood.

The performance also won our approval with the trajectory really impressing and shots being very easy to shape and control. We struggled to find fault with the Cobra S2 fairways and we feel this is one of the best new fairway woods to hit the market and we'd certainly encourage you to give them a try.
