The Cobra S2 driver offers accuracy, distance and forgiveness for all golfers combined with the technology and design features that make Cobra clubs so coveted.

The S2 driver boasts a black finish using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and a much more traditional profile than is offered by many other drivers. These work in harmony to build confidence at address and golfers of all abilities will be able to enjoy the workability and feel that the S2 combines with great looks.

The Cobra S2 is packed with the kind of technological breakthroughs that Cobra are famed for and which translate into superior performance from the tee. 9 Point Face Technology sees a Milled Rhombus Face insert working in harmony with an thinner titanium perimeter, a design that ensures extra speed is generate right across the clubface. This means that even off centre hits can retain their distance and accuracy.

Cobra have also opted to provide the S2 with an Adjustable Flight Technology (AFT) system that really works rather than overloading the system with option and gimmicks. The S2 can be set to one of three simple face angles – Open, Neutral, Closed – and this allows golfers to optimise trajectory for extra distance and much straighter flight for added accuracy.

The Cobra S2 golf driver also features a maximum 460 cc clubhead which is accommodated within a far more traditional head shape than recent Cobra drivers. The titanium clubhead has been designed to provide the best feel and sound of any of Cobra’s titanium drivers while providing the maximum level of energy transfer to make sure you get the most from every drive.

The Cobra S2 driver comes with the high performance Fujikura Fit-on Max shaft and a Golf Pride grip.

Cobra S2 Driver Review

As big fans of previous Cobra models we couldn't wait to try out the Cobra S2 driver and we're delighted to report that it offers eveything you would expect from a quality driver. The dark good looks are certainly striking and will turn heads on the course if you are keen to make an immediate impact on your playing partners.

As promised the Adjustable Flight Technology is one of the simplest systems on the market and it's very easy to find the setting that suits you best. The significant effect the different settings have on ball flight elevate Cobra's system far above the status of gimmick.

This is a driver for the better player and the price is towards the higher end of the market. But if you're looking for a premium driver that really performs then you could certainly do worse than consider the Cobra S2. And the sound has certainly improved as well.

The best driver i have ever hit by miles. Longer and straighter than any of my previous drivers.

The first one i had developed a fault with the paint finish but Cobra sorted it out very quickly with a replacement driver
