Cobra Pro S9-1 D Driver

The King Cobra Pro S9-1 D is a driver for the low handicap player who achieves extreme ball speed and demands the ability to shape shots from the tee. The Pro S-91 promotes neutral ball flight with high launch and low spin shots. The Pro S9-1 model incorporates Hotter 9 Point technology along with a high MOI and a large face area incorporating Cobra’s Milled Dual Rhombus Technology to maximise ball speed across the whole clubface. The Pro S9-1 is designed for players with a swing speed of more than 104 miles per hour who also demand the ability to shape their shots and require a driver that delivers workability. Already a winner on Tour the King Cobra Pro S9-1 D is perfect driver for the low handicap golfer.

What Golfalot Says

The Cobra Pro S9-1 D Driver is aimed at the better player and the updated head shape offers a great looking traditional profile at address. With a deeper face than its sister Pro S9-1 S model, it has a more compact look behind the ball and it certainly delivers this punch with a lower, more boring trajectory. Aimed at players with a high swing speed we certainly feel that you need to be in this range to get the most out of the club, but if you are lucky enough to fall into this bracket then the Pro S9-1 D certainly delivers in terms of both distance and accuracy and has already been slotted into the bags of both Camilo Villegas and Geoff Ogilvy. We found the 9 point technology in the Pro S9-1 D gave us a consistent performance across the whole face and the feel and sound at impact was excellent. Price wise, the 9-1 Pro drivers are heading towards the premium end of the market and the performance and finish does justify this. However there are a lot of great drivers in this sector, some of which have a little more forgiveness. If you are a better player with who is looking for performance from a traditional looking club then we feel this is certainly a driver worth considering.

You will want to use this club if you are in the zone. However you may wish to carry a strong three wood just in case you get tired or start to fall apart. An excellent training aid it will let you know immediately if you got something quackey in your swing. Swing smooth and strong and let it eat! I'm giving her a nine, but it's probably my fault for buying a little bit too much club.
