Cobra LD M-Speed Driver

The Cobra LD M-Speed driver has the largest clubface in golf and a fast-back club head that stretches as long and wide as the R&A allows. The Cobra LD M-Speed generates a massive MOI (Moment of Inertia), faster balls speed, and longer straighter drives. In order to get the CG as low and back as possible, the club head dimensions were pushed to the very edge of R&A size regulations. That means the centre of gravity is pushed lower and further back resulting in extremely high MOI - promoting longer, straighter drives. The fast-back crown and massive dimples are two further ways the Cobra designers moved the CG low and back, maximising MOI, as well as increasing launch angle and distance.

The Cobra LD M-Speed driver has inertia of 5000, which means ball speed loss and variance in launch conditions on off centre hits is greatly reduced. The result is more consistent ball flight, trajectory and distance. At 4.75”x2.4”, the Cobra LD M-Speed driver is extremely forgiving and generates higher ball speed across all 9 points on the clubface. Each Speed LD drivers are ‘speed tuned’ to the golfer to optimise launch conditions for both fast and moderate ball speeds. The Cobra LD M-Speed driver is for players that average drives of 210-250 yards with a ball speed of 110-140MPH and is tuned to give moderate ball speed players unmatched distance and forgiveness with a maximum draw-bias head design, lighter shafts, mid ball spin and extra-high launch.

What Golfalot Says

The Cobra LD M-Speed driver looks great and really delivers in spades. With a high MOI rating this is a very forgiving driver in a more traditional shape than the square shaped drivers of similar MOI around. As usual with Cobra the forgiveness is excellent across the face and we were able to hot the ball high and low from a variety of tee heights. The LD M-Speed doesn't sound as noisy as previous Cobra drivers, which is a good thing. The various options for swing speeds mean that you can easilt get the right one for your swing. An excellent club at a very competitive price.
