Cobra Baffler TWS Utility Club

The 2009 King Cobra Baffler TWS is the latest update of Cobra’s hugely successful Baffler model promising the traditional Baffler playability while incorporating updates to improve performance. The large face area, fast back crown and Triple Weight System (TWS) mean the club retains its consistency even on off centre hits and the distribution of the internal weight at the periphery of the clubhead further improves forgiveness by delivering a much higher MOI. Combined with an updated design these technical improvements mean the King Cobra Baffler TWS promises to be the best of the impressive range so far.

What Golfalot Says

The new Baffler TWS from Cobra is an excellent addition to the hybrid market and should be considered by all players looking to get the performance benefits of their long irons without having the problems of actually getting them up into the air. An excellent addition to the Baffler range the TWS maintains the reputation for playability with new style and performance features , such as Cobras Triple Weighting System, that have resulted in a good looking club that holds it’s own in this market. The club is reassuringly large behind the ball to inspire confidence and is very easy to line up. The lighter shaft, combined with the weight positioned at the back of the club head, means that it is very easy to get the ball in the air although we still found the ball flight to be strong and consistent. The Baffler TWS is very forgiving across the whole face and this is a hybrid that delivers exactly what it promises - long iron length with the higher trajectory, playability and consistency of the utility club.
