The ultra -lightweight composite top, made from layers of woven carbon fibre, shaves up to 15 grams off the top of the club, depending on head size. The weight is moved from the top of the club head, lower and further back to create more dynamic loft and promote a higher launch angle for greater carry distance. Precisely positioned dual weight inserts promote a high launch angle, low spin rate and left bias ball flight. Weighting varies by model to ensure consistent performance for all types of players. The Cobra 454 Comp driver has a milled titanium rhombus oval insert, positioned with a larger, thinner face perimeter, optimises the dynamics of the swing and delivers greater face flex on both centre and off-centre hits. The result is a larger, hotter sweet zone with consistently higher performance across all 9 points of the face. The standard 45g Mitsubishi Rayon SL-45 shaft is incredibly lightweight (it weighs less than a club grip!) yet it is incredibly stable.
