The Cobra 3400 I/XH advanced undercut design pushes weight low and back for a deep centre of gravity and high moment of inertia. This results in higher shots that fly further. The 'Transition' design of the 3400 irons give the maximum amount of forgiveness and the lowest centre of gravity. The 3-7 irons have a hollow design to give the very low centre of gravity whilst the 8-SW irons have a traditional cavity back design for consistency and control. The Urethane insert dampens vibration for superior feel. Made from high quality 431 Stainless Steel this club is perfect for the golfer who wants the perfect balance of accuracy, forgiveness and distance. A 'Super-sized' sweet zone across the whole club face provides exceptional forgiveness on off centre strikes. Fitted with Cobra Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips and high quality Nippon steel or Aldila graphite shafts as standard to give greater club head speed for extra carry and distance.
Average rating for this product from 1 reviews
For a large headed oversized iron the Cobra 3400 I/XH looks pretty good. They are aimed at the high handicapper who needs to get the ball airborne and we found they certainly acheived this. The feel from them was not the best and there was not much feedback on the strike. The large sized Cobra head does make them very forgiving and the ball shaped pattern of the grooves on the face made them easy to line up. At address the thick top line gave a lot of confidence as did the view of the insert low and back from the face to give the maximum amount of forgiveness. Not bad, but given the choice we preferred the Cobra 3100 irons.
