The Cobra S9-1 F Speed driver is a great addition to the Cobra driver range and is a worthy successor to the popular LD F Speed.
The heads have been redesigned to utilise Cobra’s Dual Rhombus technology, with the width and top profile of the club slightly reduced to allow this weight to be repositioned for increased performance.
The new design certainly looks good and at address is easy to align and sits confidently behind the ball. The S9-1 F Speed is designed to give a slight draw bias with a high launch and we found that the driver was very consistent in this respect, feeling and sounding good at impact and performing well on shots from all across the clubface both in terms of distance and accuracy.
Aimed at amateur players with faster swing speeds (the M Speed models have been designed for higher handicappers) we feel that this is one of the best value for money drivers around and one that enhances Cobras reputation for producing excellent drivers that fit and complement player’s games.
