Ping G25 Irons Review
Ping say that they are for players of all abilities and we have to agree with them.
For a large headed oversized iron the Cobra 3400 I/XH looks pretty good.
They are aimed at the high handicapper who needs to get the ball airborne and we found they certainly achieved this. The feel from them was not the best and there was not much feedback on the strike.
The large sized Cobra head does make them very forgiving and the ball shaped pattern of the grooves on the face made them easy to line up.
At address the thick top line gave a lot of confidence as did the view of the insert low and back from the face to give the maximum amount of forgiveness.
Not bad, but given the choice we preferred the Cobra 3100 irons.
