The Cleveland CG12 DSG wedge couples Cleveland Golf’s Zip Grooves technology with a unique Dynamic Sole Grind which allows players of all levels the ability to open the clubface more easily at address. The Cleveland CG12 DSG wedge features state-of-the-art technology known as ZIP Grooves, which gives them the biggest and most precisely milled grooves available in a Cleveland wedge. ZIP Grooves are milled to maximum conforming dimensions using a proprietary CNC milled bit that creates envelope-stretching geometry for added shot consistency. Their larger groove volume helps channel more debris at impact than traditional grooves, making ZIP Grooves perfect for players looking for optimal spin and distance control.
The Cleveland CG12 DSG wedge features a Dynamic Sole Grind which allows square-faced shots to play like a standard bounce wedge. The leading portion of the sole is narrow with a high bounce angle, while the trailing edge sole grind provides low bounce performance on open-faced shots due to its lower leading edge. This combination of sole features allows players to hit high and soft touch shots with ease. The CG12 DSG is available in the RTG+ finish, a raw, oil coated finish which slowly rusts over time, leaving the wedge with enhanced texture, feel and reduced glare at address.

Have the 52 degree as a gap wedge. Fills the void well between my wedge and sand. Unbelievable back spin off this club, range balls are jumping back about 2 feet. This has not translated to the course yet as I need to hit down on the ball more but it is coming. Really nice feel to the club, light and precise. Would advise you speaking to your pro to ensure you have the correct choice of club as it is a minefield of choices.

This Cleveland DSG wegde looks very classy and the sole grind on the back makes picthing and flopping shots up from grass a breeze. Opening the face actually seems to reduce the bounce on the club so this should suit all types of lies. Out of the sand it is less good as you really have to play the face square so the bounce is at its maximum. Ideal for the very experience bunker player, but not if you struggle out of sand. Shame really as the performance around the green is fantastic and the feel is great.
