Callaway Tour i(s) Golf Ball

The Callaway Tour i(s) golf ball is a whole new weapon in your short game arsenal offering the total control and soft feel that the very best players demand.

With the golf authorities bringing in restrictions to reduce the amount of spin that golf clubs can generate the onus is now on the elite players to rely on their shot making skills. The Tour i(s) allows them to do this thanks to Callaway’s introduction of second generation dual core construction. This creates a lower compression to play and feel softer than any other Callaway tour ball.

Professionals and amateurs alike will notice just how easy it to generate spin and the Hyper-Urethane cover also adds extra spin off the wedges and short irons that can make so much difference to a score.

Thanks to Callaway’s newly refined HEX aerodynamics system the Tour i(s) also lack for nothing in distance and the reduction of drag achieved by the HEX system allows a strong ball flight to survive even the most testing of conditions.

The Callaway i(s) is the ideal golf ball for players wanting maximum control and soft feel without losing precious yards elsewhere.

What Golfalot Says

The Callaway Tour i(s) golf ball is slightly softer than the i(z) and feels this way when you hit it. It feels great on and around the green and the hexagonal dimple pattern continues Callaway’s excellent reputation for golf balls that are more stable in the wind. The Tour i(s) is a much better ball than the previous Tour i not only because of the feel, but principally because it feels longer and is right up there with the best performers in this sector. That said, we think that the Tour i(s) will suit those who prefer a softer than average feeling ball, as the Tour i(z) has the feel/firmness balance just about right and would be our choice for most golfers.
