The Callaway Odyssey ProType Black putters are crafted for the best players in the world and feature a black PVD finish, black powder coat steel shafts and a black, seamless grip.
The distinctively stealth look will be featured in three head shapes designed from the feedback of hundreds of Tour professionals. Made from 1025 Carbon Steel, the Odyssey ProType Black putters performance is similar to stainless steel, but with a softer feel.
The deep, sharp milling pattern on the face increases interaction between the ball and the face for a truer roll, better feel and increased consistency.
The durable, powder coat "skin" on the shaft won't get wear marks while taking the club in and out of your bag. In addition, the half-wrap, paddle-style seamless black grip offers a very tacky feel. The three models of the ProType Black include a blade (#2), a mid mallet (#9) and Odyssey's successful 2-Ball design.

We have often wondered why Odyssey do not make more all metal putters to meet the demand for premium soft feeling steel putters for better players. With the Callaway Odyssey ProType Black they go some way to meeting this demand - if you like black.
A range of Callaway's most popular styles get the ProType Black treatment and the result is some stealthy looking, soft feeling, classy wands. The feel from the face is excellent and the feedback is what every steel face putter lover could want. This combines with an excellent new half-cord, pistol grip that Callaway's designer has been wanting to add for ages and you have one of the best putters on the market.
At this end though it is all about looks and image too and the all black shaft features a coating that is more resistant to marking and chipping. It also reduces glare and the whole putter blends into one visually at address.
