Really didn't like the Callaway FT-i driver at all. Found it looked ugly at set up and I didn't get any sweet strikes with it. Would definitely not invest in one. Seems just like a marketing gimmick to me.

I had it in my mind that I would hate the Callaway FT-i driver, but how wrong I was. It may not be the best looker out there, but once you get over the new square shape this club can bomb the ball out there. Make sure you get the right set up for your swing, but once you have this the club performs. Long, penetrating and very solid through impact. A major surprise!

What a fantastic driver the Callaway Ft-i is. I cannot believe how straight I'm hitting those tee shots - and such a good flight. Will be a massive boost to the weakest part of my game. Can't praise the Callaway FT-i high enough.

I tried to like the Callaway FT-i driver and first hit it in the spring of 2007 at a demo day and did not like it at all. I then hit it another demo day this summer, still didn't like it. I then tried it a retail golf store with driving range here in the Phoenix area and I was impressed! I must have been "on" that day because now I regret buying it and I am trying to sell it on EBay. You have to work too hard to make this club work. It seems that you have to groove your swing perfectly to get decent results. As far as high MOI, I didn't get any real benefit from forgiveness with the FT-i. I try all the drivers and unfortunately, buy too many and regret it. I just changed to the TaylorMade Burner Draw and am very satisfied. The distance is definitely further than the Callaway.
