Callaway Diablo Edge Tour Driver

The Callaway Diablo Edge Tour driver gives better players the chance to enjoy the good looks and great performance of the Diablo Edge range with the enhanced control and workability that low handicappers demand.

The Callaway Diablo Edge Tour features a smaller 450cc clubhead than the normal version and the design is rounder and more while the hosel completes the more traditional appearance. The clubface is 1 degree open compared to the standard version to move the centre of gravity slightly lower. This helps the Diablo Edge Tour driver produce the lower, penetrating ball flight that lower handicappers aspire to.

The Diablo Edge Tour driver features the same cutting edge technology of the standard Diablo Edge version with the looks and refinements that the better player needs.

What Golfalot Says

The Callaway Diablo Edge Tour driver immediately impressed our reviewers because it looks great. We weren’t disappointed when we saw it in action either because it’s a great and easy club to hit. That it also offers all the playability that you expect from a better players drivers means this is a seriously attractive package.

The Diablo Edge Tour driver does lack some of the extreme forgiveness that marks the standard version as such a standout but it does retain a margin of error that should be quite comfortable for low handicappers. And the added benefits of an excellent, firm feel and lower ball flight means that this ticks all the boxes for the better players out there.

When I first took a look at this club, I was skeptical on its performance, but after hitting it I was impressed. My ball speed went up 4 mph when I hit this club compared to others such as the new Nike driver or the Ping i15.

I was hitting it 310 yards compared to 295 yards with the Nike. The ball just explodes off of the club face. Even though I am a bigger fan of the Ping i15, this club is still a good club. Better than the Callaway FT series.
