The Bridgestone J40 Cavity Back irons are designed for better players who prefer a no-frills look and a thin topline. The compact head is forged from a mild carbon steel for a soft feel, and features a higher face progression for a mid-height launch. The unique V-Cut in the back of the J40 CBs is designed to place more mass higher on the clubface, raising the centre of gravity and resulting in a more penetrating, controllable flight. Bridgestone tapered the sole of the J40 CB to allow more versatility in shot making, whilst the trailing edge has been enhanced to improve performance from a greater variety of lies and conditions.
