The Big Max IQ is a premium push trolley with a slick, attractive design and compact folded size.

The lightweight design makes the IQ very easy to push around the course. It accommodated our tour bag just, and had no issues with it down the fairways. The large, padded hand grip is very comfortable and manoeuvring the trolley around the course was relatively easy. The handle section on the IQ is slightly shorter than the AutoFold or Wheeler trolley and therefore the clubs from the bag were much close to your hand and the organiser panel.

The looks of the IQ are great out on the course and you will certainly be proud to push this trolley around. The bad cables are elasticated which makes it easy to secure the bag. We prefer the clip strap used on the other Big Max trolleys, but after a few rounds, you will soon get the hang of how the cables work and realise they don't get in your way.

The folding/release button that collapses the IQ was easy and relatively straight-forward and the removable rear wheels help save space. You don't need to adjust the front wheel to fold it down, but it will reduce the folded size of the trolley further. However it is bit fiddly, especially rotating the wheel 90 degrees so that it tucks completely in. The folded trolley sits well horizontally, but not vertically in case that is important to you.

The handle features some clever features such as a pencil sharpener, umbrella holder and ball line marker as well as a bottle/can holder that is maybe a little too deep for a 330ml can.

The stability of the BigMax IQ on side slopes is not great as the bag is positioned higher and more on top than most other push trolleys. The brake locks the right wheel and works reasonably well. It is operated by a lever on the handle that is easy to apply, but a little more fiddly to release.

The IQ is certainly a great push trolley. It is lightweight, attractive and easy to use and has a lot of features but for the price we would perhaps expect slightly more. However if you prefer a push trolley to an electric one and fancy a good one that will last, this is certainly worth your consideration.

Had to return my 4 wheeler big max. Kept tipping backwards and the brake kept slipping. Hopeless. Fix those issues and it would be a great trundler
