For the price this club is an excellent bargain. I've found it to be incredibly consistent and very forgiving. I have been using the 17 degree model and I have found it to be a real asset from the fairway, from the rough and from the tee. With the lowest degree option ball flight is excellent although I could imagine you might get a bit too much height the higher up the range you go. I felt immediately comfortable with this club and think it provides excellent value for money.

I have three of these 2007 versions, the #2 at 17%, the #4 at 23% and the #5 (yes a 5 hybrid) at 26%. I love them. The #2 gets interchanged with my 5 wood depending on the course and wind conditions. So straight off the tee and nice and low if you want on windy days but the 4&5 versions are there to replace my 3-5 irons. The 5 is a particularly superb recovery club from the rough, gaining real height with little effort. It's so sweet off the fairway too. My irons are easily one club stronger from the clubs of yester-year and a little longer than today's average so my 5 iron tends to be as unreliable as a 4 iron. What a difference switching to these. I've not altered the weights and do find that they are just waiting to be hooked if set-up isn't correct. If you're a natural drawer of the ball you might want to opt for the 'tour' versions (if you can still get them) which do not have the draw biased offset which the standard ones have. The 2009 versions have a single weight and a wider sole, possibly a lower profile and look fantastic. If you can still pick these 2007s up they are fabulous value.
