I have played with the Pro V1 and the Callaway HX Tour. Good balls, excellent some may say. I would say the Pro V1 is better then the HX Tour. The Ben Hogan Apex tour is however better then both. It is a great ball. Why you may be asking? The reason is that it spins less then both the Callaway HX and the Pro V1 meaning more distance. This is not my reason for liking the Apex Tour. My reason is that when you put that dreaded slice on the ball it actually slices less due to ball spin less. Trust me I have tried all three one after the other and the Hogan Apex Tour gives you more accuracy. Accuracy is what you want with a ball. It spins on the greens as well. You can get one drop and stop on greens and is nice to putt with. Just as good as the others I have mentioned.
