The Adams Idea Tech V4 Hybrid, featuring Velocity Slots and Cut-Thru Technology, is the most technologically advanced hybrid Adams has made.

The Adams Idea Tech V4 Hybrid features Velocity Slots in the crown and sole and is designed to be as hot as a driver. The Velocity Slots, as well as a channel cut through the head of the club, allow for face deflection. In order to adhere to USGA and R&A regulations the slots are sealed using a new TPU insert, which also improves the feel of the club and a sound similar to an iron.

The slot design, first introduced by Adams in the Idea a12 IS Hybrid, is created to increase the Characteristic Time, or clubhead flexibility. In the Idea Tech V4 Hybrid, the CT is increased by 67% to levels only seen before in titanium drivers.
