The R15 Fairway Woods follow in the footsteps of the R15 driver with TaylorMade packing in the technology to increase distance and playability from both the tee and the fairway.

TaylorMade say the R15 is their most technologically advanced fairway wood ever and it is unique as the first fairway wood model to incorporate a sliding weight in the sole of the club.

The Front Track System has a single 25g sliding weight that can be moved to give shot shaping adjustability across the spectrum from fade to draw.

As in the R15 driver the Front Track System behaves in the same manner as a speed pocket helping to reduce spin and increase the sweet spot for longer and more consistent distance across the whole face.

Brian Bazzel, Senior Director Metalwood Prouduct Creation, explains why TaylorMade have brought the Front Track to the Fairways:

Bringing the front track system to the 3 wood allows us to get the best of all worlds, a system that creates more flexibility and speed while allowing us to affect shot shape.

TaylorMade's loft sleeve offers four degrees of loft adjustability to all the fairways to ensure players can accurately gap their fairways in their bag. The R15 is available in 3, 3-HL, 5 and 5-HL options with a TP version available that is differentiated by a unique Fujikura Speeder 757 Evolution TS shaft offering.
