TaylorMade has released a new range of Ghost Tour putters with an emphasis on detail and craftsmanship. TaylorMade designers have seen great results with their high-MOI and counterbalanced putters, but the Ghost Tour series has been created to appeal to golfers who prefer traditional putter shapes.

The company previously released the 2012 Ghost Tour series of putters, but have redesigned the latest range fresh for the 2014 season.

Three blades and four mallet head designs make up the new range, all fitted with TaylorMade's PureRoll insert. Made up of 20% aluminum and 80% surlyn and is crafted to promote a smoother roll, better distance control and improved feel.

“We spent a full year perfecting every detail on our Ghost Tour putters, making each one a thing of beauty, elegance and excellence,” said Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade’s director of iron, wedge and putters development. “Golfers will be blown away when they set each of these putters down for the first time, and again when they experience the performance.”

Each of the seven models feature a black ion plating on the sole as well as a coat of white paint made to provide contrast against the green. The new black parallel lines on the trailing edge further enhance alignment, both at address and throughout the stroke.

Many of the same Tour-proven head shapes have been added to the new Ghost Tour range. TaylorMade's Daytona 12, Daytona 62 and Sebring 62 offer classic blade shapes, whilst the Maranello 81, Fontana 72, Monte Carlo 12 and Corza 72 models are mallet shaped.

All TaylorMade Ghost Tour putters are equipped with a step-less TaylorMade putter shaft and new premium TaylorMade rubber grip with red end cap.
