The 2013 Z-Star XV golf ball from Srixon has been significantly updated from the previous generation to support the games of both Tour Professionals and Low handicap players who demand exceptional distance, great control and all important feel on all shots from tee to green.

Srixon designers have taken feedback from players like Graeme McDowell and Keegan Bradley to produce a ball with improved spin control and feel coupled with exceptional all round performance.

The new Z-Star XV is a four-piece ball with a “super soft Neo Urethane cover” and a new high spin grip coating that significantly increases the friction between clubface and ball by up to 20%, giving players greater control and performance without sacrificing the durability of the ball.

Already recognised for exceptional distance the latest evolution of the Z-Star XV has improved this key performance area with an enhanced ‘Neo Energetic gradient growth dual core’ whose large diameter is made possible by the thinness of the 0.5mm cover.

The core actually is harder on the outside and becomes softer further in resulting in higher launch and less spin for more distance. Stability in the wind has been improved with a new ‘344 speed dimple’ pattern that provides 4% more dimple coverage to reduce air resistance for a trajectory that in unaffected by wind allowing players to be confident in the balls performance on all shots.

The 2013 Z-Star XV, like it’s stable mate the 2013 Z-Star, is available in both Pure White and Tour Yellow colour options with an RRP of £48.
