The 2013 Srixon Z-Star golf ball is the latest evolution of a product that has seen Srixon Staff Players win more than 70 International events in the last 2 years.

The new Z-Star range has been specifically designed to meet the demands of players like Graeme McDowell and Keegan Bradley with improved spin control and feel coupled with exceptional all round performance.

Already recognised for impressive distance this evolution for 2013 was focussed on two areas: improving greater feel and spin control and improving trajectory into the wind.

To enhance feel and control the Z-Star has a new high grip spin coating that acts like a spin skin allowing the ball to grip the club more from full approach to half shots. Srixon report this 20% increase in friction between ball and club results in significantly greater control for both Professionals and low handicap players.

Feel has also been enhanced by improvement to the super soft 0.5mm super soft Neo Urethane cover.

Improved trajectory into the wind is key to maintaining excellent distance performance and the 2013 Z-Star golf balls uses a large diameter core that maintains high initial speed as well as creating a high launch angle with reduced spin.

The specially enhanced ‘Neo Energetic Gradient growth core’ actually gets softer from the outside to the inside, and coupled with a newly developed for 2013 ‘344 speed dimple’ pattern that has 4% more dimple coverage than previous models, the ball flight of the new Z-Star is strong and unaffected by the wind allowing players to be aggressive on all types of shots.

The 2013 Z-Star is a 3-Piece Ball (it’s stable mate the 2013 Z-Star XV is 4-piece) and is available in both Pure White and Tour Yellow colour options with an RRP of £48.
