If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That is the idea behind Srixon and their golf balls. Their AD333 ball has been the top selling two-piece ball in the UK since 2007. Now, Srixon have announced the release of the 6th generation of the AD333 ball.
The latest edition of the AD333 will be very similar in looks and peformance with some upgraded materials and technology.
As you can see the dimple pattern and cover have changed. Ok, maybe you can't see that, but take our word for it. Srixon have designed a new speed dimple pattern that promotes a more penetrating flight better suited for play in the wind. Additionally, the outer cover (a blend of Rabalon HR+ and Panatetra) is highly resilient yet soft.
The main upgrade however is the new Spin Skin Technology. Also featured in Srixon's Z-Star range, the skin coating increases friction between the ball and the face of your club. This friction creates more spin which offers golfers greater control and feel, especially on shots around the green.
But the AD333 is not just about feel and spin, it can also go, and go far.
The 2014 AD333 is longer than ever. With an improved Energetic Gradient Growth core, the ball has a firmer outer layer than becomes progressively softer towards the centre. This technology offers more distance and less spin off the tee and from shots struck with more speed, whilst also offering control and spin around the greens.
As with all of Srixon's balls, the AD333 is designed for a specific segment of golfers. The new AD333 is engineered to benefit players with a club head speed of more than 80mph.
As with recent AD333 models, the 2014 AD333 will be available in a Tour Yellow colour as well as the standard Pure White.
