SkyCaddie SX400 GPS Device

Available now at £299.95 - almost £100 less than the RRP of the SX500 - the SX400 boasts a 4-inch HD touchscreen along with WiFi connectivity, and is legal for competition use in accordance with R&A guidelines.

James Holmes, SkyCaddie's General Manager for UK & Europe, commented:

We have included all of the SX500's advanced stroke-saving features in the SkyCaddie SX400, for golfers wanting a more compact version of this game-changing device.

The new SX400 and its bigger brother the SX500 both provide all the information the best players in the game need, in a faster and easier way, so they can focus on playing their best golf.

We believe that SkyCaddie's SX400 and SX500 are the best-priced, easiest to use, and most feature-packed distance measuring devices on the market today.

For approach shots into the green, the Pin Position feature uses daily pin locations at your course to give exact distances to the flag along with front and back of the green yardages, making it easier, quicker and more comprehensive than using a rangefinder. Combine this with IntelliGreen/IntelliGreen Pro for details on green complexes, including ridges and tiers, to get all the information you need before you hit your approach.

Dynamic HoleVue allows you to view the entire hole with yardages to all hazards, carries and lay-up points from the angle that you are coming from, whilst IntelliPath Technology works out yardages on your chosen target line which is helpful when deciding whether to try and clear a bunker, or how brave to be on a dog-leg tee shot.

As always, SkyCaddie provide you with course maps for 35,000 different venues which have been mapped on foot by a member of their team to ensure that the information they bring you is accurate and up to date.

The SX400 comes with a compact yet tough, highly water-resistant body that can either be held or attached to a golf bag or trolley with ease. It has a battery life of over 20 hours, equivalent to four rounds of golf, meaning that it is perfect for golfing weekends with just a single charge.
