Golfing outerwear specialist ProQuip has introduced its latest range of clothing for Autumn and Winter 2019, featuring market-leading water resistance and lightweight pack-ability.

ProQuip AW19 Collection

The range is headlined by the stormFORCE PX6 Pro rain suit, which is manufactured using an exclusive Japanese fabric that uses a lifetime waterproof guarantee.

The suit has the highest specifications of waterproofing and breathability of any ProQuip suit ever made, which is pretty impressive considering that the brand has supplied 23 Ryder Cup teams over the last three decades.

Priced at an RRP of £325, this jacket and trousers set is also around half the price of competitor's suits in recent times.

ProQuip Managing Director Russell Brooks commented:

In stormFORCE PX6 Pro we've achieved the perfect balance of lightness, softness and quietness and delivered those comfort benefits alongside a jacket and trousers that provides protection against the worst weather.

It's high performance clothing that looks great, is enjoyable to wear and carries the ultimate assurance; a lifetime waterproof guarantee.

Adding to the waterproof offering, TourFlex-Lite is an ultra-packable rain jacket which is made from a dual-knit outer fabric with four-way stretch and a soft inner mesh lining.

The lightest waterproof in ProQuip's range, it features a number of practical touches such as adjustor tabs and elasticated hems, providing a comfortable fit for all.

For ultimate convenience, the jacket packs down even smaller than a winter mitt, and also is crease-resistant so that it still looks smart from the moment it comes out of your bag.

The Tempest suit is new for 2019 and offers great value for money - at RRP £129 for a jacket and trousers, along with a three year waterproof guarantee. There are two new colour stories throughout this release, with Opal Blue/Pewter/Flame and Burgundy/Light Grey being present through both the waterproof and mid-layer categories.

The Therma-Excel quilted jackets and gilets are highlights of the mid-layer category and offer on-trend outer layers with an ultra-warm lining and stretch panels and sleeves.

ProQuip has also updated its Lambswool and Merino knitwear collections, both with nano-technology designed to repel water, with new colour stories and better protection from the rain.

A classical long-sleeved polo makes its way back into the base layer category, as well as the Sirocco compression top and thermal fleece snoods and bobble hats.

The 2019 AW Ladies Collection sees upgrades made to the mid-layer category with the introduction of the Millie zip-neck sweater, and Jenny, an athletic full-zip jersey made with stretch fabric and featuring new colours.

The Katrina TourFlex-Lite and Aquastorm Ebony rain suits are still in the range, with a three-year waterproof guarantee.

The water repellent knitwear is on show with a Merino sweater (Amy) and full-zip Merino cardigan (Chloe), offering protection against wind and rain if you don't fancy a waterproof jacket.
