The Acushnet Company's new Pinnacle golf balls are designed to give golfers best in category performance with what they claim is a choice of unbeatable distance from the Pinnacle Rush or the incredibly soft feel of the Pinnacle Soft.

Pinnacle Rush And Soft Golf Balls

Tested and manufactured by the company's world-class R&D Operations teams at their state-of-the-art research facilities in Massachusetts, Michael Mahoney, Director, Golf Ball Product Management, explains the vision for the latest Pinnacle products:

Pinnacle has been a long-standing leader in its segment of the market. Given our extensive performance testing of these products, we expect that this lead is likely to grow.

Pinnacle Rush is either longer, or longer and softer, than other top selling distance competitors that retail from £15 and below. Pinnacle Soft is longer and softer than the leading competitive products positioned as extremely soft or low compression.

Pinnacle Rush Golf Ball

The Pinnacle Rush uses a proprietary high-energy core to give fast ball speeds and distance on all full swings shots. It achieves this by combining a low compression core and a firm cover to produce a combination of high velocity from the face with low spin.

This is complemented by the advanced icosahedral cover whose 332 dimples give the Pinnacle Rush a consistent and powerful ball flight.

Although the durable ionmer cover is firmer than that used in the Pinnacle Soft it is still soft enough to provide great feel and the overall compression of the ball is lower than most other balls in the distance category giving it a very playable feel.

Available from January 2016 the Pinnacle Rush comes in Optic Yellow the has an RRP of £15 per dozen.

Pinnacle Soft Golf Ball

The Pinnacle Soft has a high-energy, extremely low compression core, making it Pinnacle's lowest compression core ever.

The core design delivers an extremely soft feel together with the low spin necessary to give the long distance that is expected from the Pinnacle brand.

The soft core is teamed with a very soft ionomer cover to make the Pinnacle Soft the softest-feeling Pinnacle ball ever made. Designed to meet the demands of players who are looking for soft feel on every shot, regardless of the club they are playing, the cover also features an advanced icosahedral dimple design with 332 dimples for consistent flight.
