Strike while the iron is hot. In the case of Cobra Puma and Lexi Thompson, that makes sense as the company has today announced they have extended their partnership with the 3-time LPGA Tour winner.

Lexi Signing Her Contract

At the age of 15, Thompson was the first player to sign with the newly established Cobra Puma brand, following their merge in 2010. Having won twice in the last two months, Cobra Puma responded quickly putting pen to paper on a new deal that will see the 18-year old continue with the company through 2014 and beyond.

“Lexi Thompson has been an instrumental global force for the company’s growth over the past three years,” said Bob Philion, president of

Cobra Puma Golf. “We are thrilled to continue our work with her in the coming years and watch her evolve as a world-class golfer and trend-setter on and off the course.”

As for Thompson herself, she seemed more than happy to extend her current deal. “Being part of the Cobra Puma Golf team has played a huge role in the success of my professional golf career, and I’m excited to continue our partnership,” said Thompson. “I’m looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges the coming years will bring with the Cobra Puma Golf family behind me.”
