Premium Japanese brand Honma has introduced their new TWorld747 range of clubs for the 2019 season, featuring cutting-edge design with new enhancements in an attempt to really stamp their authority in the worldwide golfing market.
The new range of TWorld747 Honma distance clubs feature two driver models with accompanying fairway woods, a hybrid and two sets of irons that can cater for both better players and those looking for more help with their game.

The new TWorld747 range means golfers can now experience the luxury artistry and premium performance that Honma Golf has to offer, at an affordable price. We wanted to push the innovation boundaries further and provide golfers of all abilities with a club range that will truly improve their distances and maintain a superior aesthetic.
Honma TWorld747 Driver
The TWorld747 range comes with two different driver options, the 455 and the 460. Both models are designed using Honma’s revolutionary Proprietary Adjustability System which allows golfers to adjust the loft and lie of the club head to suit their shot tendencies, without rotating the spine of the shaft, which Honma says improves both ball flight and distance.
The drivers use an ultra lightweight ET40 Carbon on the crown with ribbed grooving for optimised club head speeds. 4 Fang Technology, where metal studs are placed behind the clubface, provide more stability across the face to generate faster ball speeds and better distance regardless of strike.
The smaller 455 model uses a weighting system to maximise MOI and create higher ball speed, whereas the 460 model is focused more around forgiveness and the interchangeable weights allow for draw/fade bias to be added to the driver to suit the needs of the golfer. The drivers both come in at an RRP of £559.
Honma TWorld747 Fairway Woods
The TWorld747 fairway wood is aimed to promote high launch and maximum distance for golfers, which is achieved by a 9g outer weight and 20g inner weight moving the centre of gravity further back in the head. Priced at £309, the fairway wood is available in 3W (15°), 3HL (16.5°) and 5W (18°) and a 7W (21°).
Honma TWorld747 Utility
The TWorld747 utility focuses on a standard, traditional design that is well balanced to provide confidence at address which also aims to promote a straight ‘take-back’ impression to start the swing properly. Honma say that the high ball-flight tendency and moderate spin rate can ensure consistent shots both from the fairway and the rough should you find yourself there. The utlity is priced at £269 .
Honma TWorld747 Irons
The TWorld747 P game improvement irons are designed to inspire confidence at address and increase forgiveness on mishit shots. Made from high-strength stainless steel and a 20g tungsten weight on the sole of the club, the P irons provide a strong loft and high ball speed to offer ideal trajectory and distance for the improving golfer.
The TWorld747 Vx Forged irons provide a premium look and solid feel designed to maximise distance. A 10g tungsten weight is located in the toe of the clubhead and the neck of the club is 3mm shorter than the previous model. A low and deep centre of gravity creates maximum distance with a high and precise trajectory.
Both iron sets are available from 3 to 11 iron with an optional sand wedge and prices start at £969 for 6 irons.
Released on 30 November 2018, the range will be looking to increase Honma’s global profile as premium golf club manufacturers and build upon their existing success on the Asian market, as well as appealing to a wide range of golfers and abilities.
