Created with a focus on comfort the latest addition to the range, the ContourFIT, fits seamlessly into this tradition whilst pushing the category forwards with some innovative upgrades.
FJ designers were given a blank sheet of paper for the ContourFIT and the result is upgrades from top to bottom resulting in a lighter, more flexible and more comfortable shoe.

With a very successful category like Contour, the tendency is to implement minor enhancements over the life of the product, but that’s not something we subscribe to at FJ.
From the moment a product is created, we start looking for ways to enhance absolutely every detail - from the overall design and materials, to every stitch and groove, to the laces and cleats.
ContourFIT, while inspired by the Contour Series family of shoes, is dramatically improved over the prior generations and we believe will excite not only the lifetime Contour wearer, but also any comfort-seeker who tries it on for the first time.
Flexibility and durability have been improved thanks to a new DynaFlex outsole, made from TPU, that flexes naturally with the foot. Flex grooves are strategically placed for maximum flexibility and mobility during the swing and while walking around the course.
Like the rest of its latest shoes the midsole uses the softest and lightest version of FootJoy's proprietary Fine-Tuned Foam. FTF 3.0 provides underfoot comfort and soft cushioning without compromising lateral support and stability.
Comfort also comes from a new achilles heel pad that delivers support and comfort whilst working together with the connected comfort tongue to lock the foot into the shoe for a precise fit.
The fit is also enhanced by the Contour Plus last that has a full rounded toe character which is full across the forefoot, with a standard instep and heel.
The bottom of the last is contoured to closely match the shape of the foot whilst an extra depth last is also incorporated to accommodate a thicker fitbed for enhanced cushioning, providing all day breathable comfort.
The shoes use FJ's U-Throat lacing system to give a more generous fit and the shoes are fitted with low profile Pulsar cleats by SoftSpikes that provide all the traction you require without damaging the greens.
The ContourFIT upper is made from a soft, full grain waterproof leather vamp and a performance synthetic material in the saddle and quarter and comes with a 1 year waterproof warranty.
Three colour options are available with laces, White/Black, Black/Charcoal/White and White/Brown with the White/Black design also available with the BOA closure system.
