Whilst many companies continue to push out modern looking equipment, Cleveland have reserved a place in their 2013 range for some Classic equipment. The Cleveland Classic XL has a classic look and shape and one of the largest fairway wood faces in golf.

The Classic XL fairway has an enlarged sweet spot engineered for greater distances, even if you miss the centre of the face.

Beyond, or rather behind, the enlarged face is even more distance and forgiveness. The enhanced variable thickness technology creates fast ball speeds on off-centre hits, increasing the Classic XL's forgiveness.

Cleveland's R&D team have moved the centre of gravity deeper into the Classic looking clubhead to promote a higher, more penetrating flight, perfect for attacking those par-5s in two.

The Cleveland Classic XL fairway comes equipped with a Matrix OZIK XCON-6 graphite shaft, specifically designed for a higher, lower-spinning flight.
