"HEX Chrome+ is hands down the fastest Tour Ball we've ever designed". Those are the words of Callaway's Senior Director of Ball R&D, Dave Bartels.

No doubt Callaway have stepped up their game for the 2013 season. No more evident than their current ball line-up. The latest addition to that is the Callaway HEX Chrome+ ball, the fastest Tour-level ball Callaway has made.

The original HEX Chrome was launched at the start of 2012 with it's 3-piece construction. To add to HEX Chrome, the HEX Chrome+ simply adds a layer/piece.

Callaway's Neil Howie explains, "Following on from the success of HEX Chrome, the launch of the four-piece HEX Chrome+ marks a technology breakthrough for Callaway as we are able to offer consumers the opportunity to experience Tour-level performance - increased driver distance and short game feel - at a hugely attractive price."

Whilst the HEX Black Tour features a dual-core the HEX Chrome+, like the HEX Chrome, features a single piece, resilient, fast speed core. Add to that the Dual inner and outer mantles within the ball that work together to produce more ball speed and reduced spin. Finally, the DuraSpin urethane cover is soft, promoting Tour-level short game control.

Like all HEX balls, the Callaway HEX Chrome+ features Callaway's refined dimple pattern. The HEX Aerodynamics reduce drag, improved aerodynamics and a penetrating flight that will hold its line in the wind.

The £34,99/dozen price point will see the Hex Chrome+ sit below HEX Black Tour and similar to HEX Chrome.
