Bushnell has released the latest version of its award winning rangefinders, the Tour v4. Available in Regular and Slope models it is faster and 30% smaller than previous editions and easier to handle thanks to a new ergonomic design.

It's not just the outside that's been refreshed as a new faster processor brings the distance information, accurate to within one yard, to the device even faster for instant yardage information.

The Slope model uses Bushnell's Tour validated Slope Technology to provide accurate playing yardages by compensating for elevation changes providing a legal out of competition option for serious players. If you have the Slope model you can disable this function for use in competition.

Scott Peterson, Senior Product Manager at Bushnell, explains:

Our Slope technology is trusted by Professionals across the world, and we wanted to continue this with the Tour v4 models. In the past, amateurs have been reluctant to purchase rangefinders with Slope Technology as it was illegal to use them in tournaments. However, with the new R&A and USGA rule change, we were able to introduce the ability for golfers to turn the slope mode off as required, which we expect to open the product’s appeal out to a much wider audience.

The popular Jolt Technology has been carried over into Bushnell's latest devices so users know they've locked onto their target, anywhere from 5 to 1,000 yards away or 400 yards to a flag, thanks to short vibrating bursts. The eye-piece can be adjusted for vision and provides 5x magnification of your target.

The unit is rainproof, has an industry leading two-year warranty and comes in a new premium carry case with a three-volt battery included. The Tour v4 has an RRP of £269 and the Tour v4 Slope has an RRP of £309.

Update - March 2017 The Tour V4 slope has been updated to include Bushnell's Shift technology allowing users to move between normal distances and those compensated for gradient by flicking the logo on the side of the device up or down.

Switch technology was first introduced in the Bushnell Pro X2 Laser and the Tour V4 Switch brings this to the popular V4 model.
