Our friends at Cobra Puma have been injecting colour into their equipment for a long time. Just last month they launched a Masters edition of their AMP Cell Driver. Now, in honour of the second major of the year at Merion, they are patriotically painting their AMP Cell Pro driver.

A limited amount of white, red and blue drivers will be available from June 1st, just two weeks before the world's best due battle at Merion GC for the year's second major championship.

Benefitting from the same features and technology found in the standard AMP Cell Pro driver used by Rickie Fowler and Jesper Parnevik, the Limited Edition model is equipped with Cobra's MyFly, SmartPad, E9 Face Technology and Advanced Material Placement. Even the Aldila RIP Phenom shaft has been given a blue makeover, matching the clubhead as well as the limited edition grip, headcover and adjustment wrench.

With the addition of the white, red, blue colour option, the AMP Cell Pro driver is now available in five different colours. To learn more about the newest paint job we heard from Cobra's Director of Product Marketing, Jose Miraflor:

"We love driving excitement around our brand with Limited Edition products. The golfing community is so patriotic, especially around the U.S. Open – we felt it was the perfect time to introduce a Limited Edition color to our AMP CELL Pro Driver line.”

The Limited Edition Cobra AMP Cell driver will set you back £350, and will only be available in right handed models.
