Tournament Mode
Work your way up the tours to the big money of the Golfalot Tour. Every time you play a tournament you earn money to either advance up the Tours, or you can spend it in the Tour Truck to improve your game.
There are 3 levels of Tour and to advance levels, you need to earn cash to achieve targets. You start on the National Tour and once you earn 250,000 you qualify for the World Tour. Earn 1 million on the World Tour to qualify for the Golfalot Tour. Earn 3 million on the Golfalot Tour to win a 'Major Championship' - can you match Jack Nicklaus' total of 18 majors?
The amount you win depends on your performance relative to these targets and the bar gets raised at each level.

As you move up the levels the swingometer goes faster and the strength of the wind increases . However you can spend your Earnings in the Tour Truck on better equipment and coaching to make the game easier:
Equipment: Hit clubs 5% further. Price 100,000
Equipment: Hit clubs 10% further. Price 350,000
Swing Coach: More accuracy. Slows the speed of the PowerMeter. Price 500,000
Mind Coach: More consistency. Reduces the effect of mis-hits on the 3rd click when taking a shot using the PowerMeter. Price 750,000

Two Matchplay Modes
If you prefer the cut and thrust of matchplay then you have the choice of two game modes. Matchplay v Lucy lets you play against our friendly assistant Lucy Locket. Matchplay 2P lets you play against a friend using the same handset.
Playing matchplay is the same as Strokeplay, with the only difference being that the score is measured in holes won or lost. Player 1 plays the white ball and Lucy/Player 2 plays the red ball. Whoever wins a hole goes 1up. If your opponent wins the next the score returns to All Square (AS) and so on. The match finishes when one player is more holes up than there are left to play.
If you are having a disaster, you can Concede a hole to your opponent when it is your turn to play. Your opponent is awarded the current hole and you move on to the next hole.

3D, 2D and Zoom views
View golf your way! Play in either 2D or 3D modes using the 'Menu' options when playing any hole. You can also zoom in and out for a closer view.
Sounds Effects
When you hit the ball, make a birdie or go for a bath in the water hazards, you get the full audio experience! Want to play on the quiet? Then you can switch the sound on or off at any time.
Distance Converter
Distances are shown in Yards, but you can show them in Metres if you so wish!
