The golf courses of the Costa Blanca enjoy less than five days of rain from November to March so provide the perfect escape for golfers looking for a winter golfing getaway. Couple this with some fabulous courses, great travel links and wonderful hospitality and it is no surprise that the reputation of the Costa Blanca as a golfing destination is continuing to grow.
 In the North, near the ancient city of Valencia, golfers are treated to two of the best golf courses in Spain. El Bosque is a challenging layout whilst the links at El Saler (pictured right) has been voted as the second best in Europe. Also worth visiting at this end of the Costa Blanca are Olivia Nova and La Sella (pictured left). Heading South you will also find two new Jack Nicklaus layouts at Real de Faula.
The central Costa Blanca, around Alicante, region boasts four courses renowned for their immaculate condition. Bonalba is a rolling course set between the mountains and the Med, Alicante Golf Club offers a typically American test, whilst Alenda offers a challenge to all players with a number of water hazards.
In the South, La Finca is now thought to present one of the finest challenges on the Costa Blanca, whilst Las Ramblas, with narrow fairways and quick greens presents a stern test. Not forgetting the oldest course in the region, Villamartin, that is renowned undulating fairways and very fast greens.
