Golfalot.com has unveiled a new look and new services, including social networking and the internet's most accurate golf course mapping service for the British Isles.
The site features Golfalot's new logo, look and feel that has been specifically designed to enhance the user's experience of Golfalot. The re-designed home page allows users to easily explore the pages that interest them including the latest equipment and tournament news, equipment and tee time offers and exclusive golf equipment review videos.
The course pages and equipment pages have also been redesigned to make it much easier to find the kind of informative, unbiased information that Golfalot is renowned for. Each of our revamped course pages now includes a Google map that not only shows location, but can also provide directions to or from the selected course. To ensure maximum accuracy, the longitude and latitude for each course has been plotted by hand for nearly 4000 courses - that's every course in the UK and Ireland, plus over 400 courses in Europe.
It's easier than ever to find courses in a given location that offer online tee times or accept 2for1 vouchers. Just enter a postcode or the nearest town in the search box above the map to see the courses near you that accept online tee times or 2for1 vouchers.
The golf equipment product pages have also had a makeover to make it much easier for golfers to watch and read reviews of a product. As well as larger images and clearer reviews, every page now also links to the top retailers for that product using Golfalot's unique price comparison service, which continues to check over 6500 prices from every major UK retailer every day.
Golfalot.com continues to spread the word via the web with new social networking services that include Golfalot pages on Twitter and Facebook. Users can also download podcasts of our equipment news videos via RSS Feeds and iTunes, so wherever you are, you can keep up to date with what is happening on Golfalot and throughout the world of golf.
